Why is this safe?
We don’t ask for your username, password, or access to your account. The files you upload are processed locally in your browser, which means your data is not shared, sold, or stored on a server. Once you close the page, everything is cleared.
What do the files I’m uploading contain?
The files basically contain a list of the usernames of the people you follow and the people who follow you. JSON is a common format used to organize information in programming. For example, you could have a file called "fruits.json" with a list like apple, banana, and orange.
What is Meta and why do I need to request my files?
Meta is the company behind Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. By downloading your files directly from Meta, you get the official information from your account in a safe way. Unlike many apps, unfollowz focuses on privacy. We don’t care about accessing your account, we just want to help you see who doesn’t follow you back.
How long does it take?
Usually around 5 minutes. After requesting your information, Meta will send you a confirmation email and then your files, often almost instantly. In some cases it may take a bit longer. Once you receive the files, they will be available to download for 4 days. After that, they expire and you’ll need to request them again.
